Hey guys, I'm KT!
I am super obsessed with cosplay, anime/manga, video games, etc. I love making costumes and I love wearing them as well (esp with friends)! I started getting into anime/manga/cosplay/etc around 2006. I bought some items for my first few cosplay costumes while altering other articles of clothing and making small accessories. In late 2009, I finally began making my own costumes from scratch and then I started attending conventions in early 2011. I am an insane perfectionist and massive procrastinator when it comes to cosplay. I tend to display really poor time management skills but try my hardest to be accurate as possible in making my cosplays. I also really enjoy photography and editing photos, so I'm slowly working my way into doing some cosplay photography! Hope you all enjoy following my cosplay shenanigans! Thanks for the support!! <3

Hello! :D I have seen you cosplay Lightning, and I have a little question!Neko Emoji-37 (Yay) [V2]  Could you tell me how did you make Your eyebrows pink in sutch a gentle way? They look very Nice. Do you use some special base before you colour them? Bucktooth

Hey, if I remember correctly, the main thing I used for Lightning's eyebrows was a cheap cream makeup I bought at a local Halloween store. It looks like this: www.spirithalloween.com/images…
I mixed the white, red, yellow, and gray colors together to match my wig as best I could and then just brushed it over my eyebrows using the cheap little brush that came with it. The cream makeup didnt dry up so I just had to be careful not to bump it, but it actually sticks well to my brow hair so it was a lot more pigmented than an eyeshadow or eye/lip liner pencil. I think before I applied the cream makeup I might have used a heavy concealer over my brows and sometimes I'll put some Ben Nye Hair Color on before I apply the pink color (I have the Ivory shade but I recommend trying out the white shade if you have darker brows cause I find the ivory doesnt always mix well with the color I want to apply over top and white would probably work out better) This is what it looks like: www.gurumakeupemporium.com/Web…
Oh! and it's also helpful to get one of those bristled mascara brushes to apply the makeup/hair colors to your brow hairs! :XD:
For my Sakura Haruno cosplay I used a slightly darker pink lip pencil to shape my brows and then used one that matched the wig over top, and then even brushed some acrylic paint matching the wig just on the hairs. My eyebrows are fairly thick and dark, so sometimes it can be hard to lighten them for a fair haired character. There are some cosplays in which I can just get away with using a colored lip/eye pencil and some eyeshadow. But, I definitely recommend researching and seeing what other cosplayers do and testing different methods out to see what works best for your brows. I don't know very much about makeup to be honest and most of the time I'm just like in a hurry and I think---"okay, let's try this...alright looks good enough." Another words, I just keep packing on makeup until it looks right, haha. But yeah, I def suggest looking up some diff methods and testing stuff out ahead of time, unlike me---who just grabs some random makeup and tries to make it work when it comes time to wear the cosplay. ^^; Anyway, hope this was somewhat helpful! good luck! :D

This was Very helpfull Thank you!! :D I think that I'll stick to Your Methods tho! I have some thick and dark eyebrows too so I gess we have the same problem, altho! I actually wanted to try to "remove my eyebrows so I could Cosplay Gaara from Naruto, and then I used some cheap Halloween Wax (but putted on some consiler first ofcourse ^^') , and then just putted a lot of makeup on it so it would fit my skin colour, it worked but it was a hell to get rid of the wax later :P So here is a tip for a tip! :D You helped me a lot! And again thank you!! :D Aw and besides, do you like to Draw?
