Well, I guess this costume is officially retired... from conventions at least. It holds a very special place in my heart, being that it was the very first FF costume I made. It led me to so many awesome opportunities and to meet so many awesome cosplayers and photographers. Thank you everyone for all the encouragement along the way.

I started working on this costume around February 2012, when ~Yuuri-C and *Yuuri-K were getting a XIII-2 cosplay group together for the upcoming Otakon. I didn't want to pass up the opportunity to not only meet such amazing cosplayers, but to also cosplay alongside them! The cosplay unfortunately wasn't completed to my satisfaction by the time the con came around and I ended up remaking all his waist bags and shoulder pouch. I think I managed to have the entire costume complete to my satisfaction by November 2012, only thing I hadn't completed yet was the Airwing prop. I started getting side-tracked with making new costumes and wasn't able to find time to work on the Airwing until my spring semester. With the Airwing finally finished, I officially completed the costume in April 2013.

My first Final Fantasy costume; I am so very proud! There are many many more FF cosplays to come from me!
